Anyone got any rust worse than these on a Mk 7 Transit :shock:

06/56 160k miles Jumbo 140ps Lx

06/56 104k miles, Swb Lr 130ps Glx

i cant get over the rust on that van :shock:

never ever seen a van that new rust out at the seams like that :roll:

looking at the 1st pic i would say there must be a manufacturing fault with that van ie: the seam must have a faulty seal so its holding water in it, and it must be covered under warrenty

I thought Jumbo's where built in Turkey

or am i wrong? I can't believe rust has come through already :shock:

i must admit my 90/350 has rust near the roof seams on the passenger side but does'nt look it's worsening

this is the exact reason the transit i own now will sadly be the last transit i will ever own, unless they seriously get better.

ill get some pics of the works one ,but also at 55k the engine management light is on and brakes warning light is on....07 plate

Management is probably egr valve and brakes is probably pads

the only rust on mine is on the front steps and the alloy locking nuts :shock:
