Part prices

Postby AndyG » Thu Jun 15, 2006 11:40 pm

Is it my imagination, or has Ford put alot of their prices up this year by quite alot :?:
Eg;At one stage I purchased a brand new rear leaf spring for my MK5 for £68 +VAT :D Now it's between £150 (trade) and £200 +VAT

EGR valve last year when I enquired was about £86 +VAT :D Now £155 but they will give you back £30 as an exchange bassis :?
What's going on :?:
And £170+ for a couple of rubbing strips for madmarks MK6  :!: :?: :?

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

It's the usual "keep the running costs down" while their trying to sell the vans and then when they know there are plenty on the road that will need repaired bump the prices back up for a quick profit.
I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing.
