just to say i love s.w.b. panel vans, and l.w.b panel vans and my favourite pastime is converting buses and the dreaded campers back to vans, i feel im doing a public service by doing this as there are far to many of those nasty smelly old campers out there and far to few panel vans, so if you have a nasty smelly old mk1 camper or bus and want to do the right thing and put it back to a van let me know, maybe i can help :x

Geoff, like I said in another thread, ditch the cokker and the pop top, and return em to how they were born, as load luggers.

PS, do you perform this public service on minibuses too?

yes Fred best thing to do, i saw a s.w.b. panel at Enfield Pagent the weekend that had the rear windows removed and steel panels fitted without trying to hide the fact, it looked great much better than some old smelly camper/bus 8)

Just thinking Fred, that Mk2 bus of yours would make a good police van for TV and film work, be great at shows to, new paint, black back windows, stripes and blue lights...bingo its done!

I did actually put mirror finish on the windows, but not happy with the result (I rushed it). You can't get the mirror film between the sliding windows. Paint shop next week (stage 1 blow over just for now), BTW and I am trying to track down the seats which may be hiding in the Church's garage.
