Been insured with CIS for a number of years now,I!V got an 02 mk 6and its TPFT AND I USE IT PRIVATELY.
I!v got 70% no claims, my last renewal cost £345 70, next due in jan 07,
never had a claim so i think i am paying over the top,can anyone recomend a cheaper insurance, I am over 50 so it might be less elsewhere.

I looked online, e-van insurance i think it was. They gave me an online quote which for me i was fairly happy with. I dont think you can beat going online to find a deal. Ive heard tesco are crap though.

if you have plenty of spare time, the internet is the place to go,forget brokers who all add on a commision fee for doing the work YOU can do on the internet.
there are LOADS of companies that do online quotes, and most give a discount if you go with them online.
with you being over 50 aswell, some specialized companies will be cheaper because of that.
enjoy your search

I just put in minibus insurance to google, and came up with loads. Obviously I haven't called/tried any of them, but at least you have some options.

Its true theres lots of search engine results, but in the nitty gritty they don't 'do' minibuses or at least don't do them for social domestic and pleasure. Or they take the p*ss with the premium.

Going to keep trying - but a few days into this I'm getting peeved at filling out countless online forms or rattling details off down the phone only to get nowhere.
Any minibus owners with a tip-off would be warmly welcome!
