yeah me too.....hence all my recent tuning/cleaning/servicing in preperation 8) altho i am a little wary due to my 152 000 miles , and the fact 1st gear isnt as easy to select as the rest.....maybe cable adjustement? or maybe time to start looking for a good second hand box :lol:

Well, Mk4 with a 2.0 fitted did about 102, that was an 80 swb. Petrol 1991.
MK5 Lwb shr 190 1997 76ps did 93
MK5 Lwb Hi-cube DRW 100ps 1996 did 78 no matter what! :shock:
MK6 swb shr 2000 75ps has gone, upto now, 93. :twisted:
All measured on sat nav on private land, obviously! :mrgreen:
In a MK6 280 SWB semi hi!!!!

What do you mean " up to now,93 " ?
Is this a standard engine? (not modified,blanked off EGR etc...)

i think he may mean its now 93ps . as opposed to 75ps ...had an upgrade maybe??

i managed an indicated 115 in mine, downhill on the M25 near the A12. regularly showed 100mph on the flat, engine sounding happy :D

my 2.5 di swb 80 only just manages an indicated 93 on the same bit of road, with a very long clear run at it, 85mph on the twatnav, engine sounding like its going to explode :shock:

The van is 75ps with blanked off egr and K&N Filter panel fitted. 8)
Planning on a re-map soon, then I'll post a new top speed!
Not sure if I'll de-cat or not!

I got mine done by Martyn today as well, and we flew home :D :D :D :D :D , no 100mph limiter now either, so faster than a standard sportvan :wink: :lol: :lol: :lol:
I saw 117 on the speedo which the Sat Nav said was 108mph :mrgreen:

109 mph on Sat Nav...in Germany,racing with 313 Sphincter.....Well not for long :D :D
