Oh btw did your inverter come with a remote? Or does it have a socket on it to plug one in?

Got to ask, have you upgraded your alarm on the van? As that unit is not a face off. I don't think you can get those removable cages that easily anymore (cue someone with half a dozen links to one) the one that came out when face offs were first introduced. I have a Pioneer radio cassette in one but I have no clue where the dash mounted part is, I think I may have a complete unit somewhere that was from Tandy's (that shows the age of them) but I got it from a Boot sale a few years ago like you do, buying things that will maybe come in useful one day.

It came witha free remote, off e-bay.

And Mark, yes I have upgraded the alarm, am going to fit a remote fob as well, all being well.
Plus where I park it, itsa a swine to get to.

A right update, it sounds mint!
Bass box helps though, standard Ford speakers in doors and Jensen 6x9's from Maplins in me bulkhead.
All wired in neatly, a great install if I do say so meself!!
