First of all, I'd like to thank all those of you who attended yesterday's event.

It's obvisously disapointing to hear that many of you did not have a good a day as I was hoping.
I have already discussed the concerns over the display of your vehicles to the Dealer management team on the day. I had understood that a number of reserved spaces for the display of your vehicles were to be arranaged, but for whatatever reason that did not happen.
I'm also personally somewhat saddened to read that there is a feeling from some that the description of the event, differed to it's actual content. After re-reading my posts in the run-up to the event, other than the non appearance of the ice-cream van (which was out of the dealership's control) everything quoted that would happen pretty much did. I could argue a number of individual issues with you all, but I fear we would have to agree to disagree.
With regard to the handling of Jimmy's breakdown, I am somewhat foxed at what people expected us to do exactly given the situation.

Upon his arrival at the site, I spoke to Jimmy and he requested if I could find some transmission fluid, which I did. It was then decided that the leak was too severe to be repaired immediately and it was best that the vehicle was to be recovered home. Jimmy then asked for a bucket of water to wash off his Transit, which I found for him to use. I personally tried to respond to any request in the best way that I could. I certainly felt on the day, that this situation had been adequately resolved, but perhaps this view was not shared by other forum members that attended.
Anyway despite these concerns, I'm glad to hear to you all enjoyed the drive to and from the event and had the opportunity to catch up with each other. It was a pleasure to meet many of you at last and may I express my best wishes to your group and it's future events.
