make a fully enclosed box and cot a hole approx 3" across ( circular ) and you can buy a plastic port ( piece of plastic tube) to let the air out. It would be better to use MDF ( 3/4 " ) as it gives better acoustics. Screws and wood glue and then cover it all with carpet ( like cord ) available at most car shops for a nice finnish. Dont forget to cut a small rectangular hole for your sub wires / connection. Hope this helps mate!

That JBL sub is designed to fit in an enclosed box, so doesn't need porting.
At the mo, I have an enclosed Kenwood sub connected to a Fli amp.
All from A1, quality stuff.
In a MK6 280 SWB semi hi!!!!
There you go! At last!

I have been giving this some serious thought over the last few weeks and I said I didnt want to spend too much money, but kind of like these...
5.25'' 200 Watt Three-Way Speakers
Image
6'' x 8'' 360 Watt Three-Way Speakers
Image
12" 1200 watt sub

with this amphttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... osi_widget
These will match the interior of the van, so thats my next project on the list for the new year (amongst all the others) :D
