I have researched several ways to get an engine running on water, most of which do work, after all water is only hydrogen and oxygen which do make a good explosive mix as gasses

but the rights to most of them do already belong to oil companies or the american military (water/electric powed guns)

and i have heard rumors that the people that tried to raise public awareness of the fact that you can run engines on water have had threats on their lives, but not too sure if its just scare mongering.

i dont think the governments would like that.
how would the government tax your use of tap water or even sea water as fuel, it would cost them a mint in lost revenue.

Have you seen the thread about veg oil? If there was some way of making this work, the police would have a go at stopping you and impound the van for using untaxed fuel. What's good for veg oil is good for tap water, in the eyes of the Excise!

i know the law on taxing biodiesel/svo are reasonably clear, but the problem with using the 'splitting water into gasses' method is that you are NOT using the water as fuel you are using it to convert to fuel as the hydrogen/oxygen is the fuel, and as far as the avarage copper is concerned the visible parts of the conversion look like an ordinary lpg conversion. ;)

Good point, but it would be interesting to see what the excise people would think of it. Like you said, the government would loose millions.

You don't get something for nothing. Ignore the laws of physics as much as you want, this is never going to work.

What do you mean ignore the laws of physics, you just try making water from hydrogen and oxygen, it takes a lot of energy! and according to the laws of physics you cannot create or destroy energy only tranfer it. so where does the energy go. ITS STORED ENERGY IN THE WATER

I have but only an old 4 stroke lawn mower engine, there is one problem i found though. the combustion recombines some of the gasses into water which rusted the inside of the cylinder.

Hydrogen as a fuel

Postby Terry » Tue Dec 20, 2005 10:50 pm

Volkswagen have had a viable hydrogen powered Golf since the early
eighty's, its not the government as a body that is killing this it's the car makers & oil companies. look at members declared interests in
Parliament...... WHY ISN'T IT PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE, why do I have to
go to the Houses of Parliament to look at it ?
What do they have to hide ?
I got a little black book with me poems in
Pallet Puller
