neil you maybe write on that mate, if only i could find the svo exhaust downpipes then i can make the rest up! will probly go for a di style out the side after the rear wheel, like the original svo was! :?

my bet is that the svo down pipes route both pipes (from v4 or v6) over to the drivers side of the vehicle until they get to the back to avoid the fuel tank, but even when you get to the back, you still have the spare wheel to contend with, much easier to just exit infront of the drivers side rear wheel

mate the problem is with the v6 fitted ,its the overdrive crossmember ,its in the way ,so you have to try and mod the downpipes to go round it, as the svo ones are shapped ,but useual ford they dont sell them anymore, and motorfactors never did! :(Image

two choices then ...

1) sweet talk your local metal fabricators into letting you use their bending equipment (i've seen exhausts done with a big manual machine like a plumbers bender before) .... this saves you the cost of their labour :) and build that section yourself
2) break out the grinder,hacksaw and welder and DIY it :P

is your van turbo , i had a citroen bx td with a staright though exhaust which sounded quite nice with the turbo and not like a mega loud boy racer car

that true mate buts its keeping it original looking ,thats the problem, i have done so much work on it to get it looking original ,haveing a big exhaust wont look write! :?

I've got a set of twin side pipes like that custom mk1 to go on my mk2. serious fabrication required to plumb them in though.
