The problem is we don't actually make that much any more. How can you buy British is there isn't anything made here?

Im really disapointed, i wanted a 2001/2002 transit and was off to buy one this week but looks like il be buying a pre 2001 van, i only wanted a newer one for customers to think i was making more money lol!!

The irony of it is that those in the know will hang on to their older vans longer, for the cheaper tax!

Im sticking with my 95 Transit for as long as i can keep the old bugger running :D and we use 50/50 veggie oil just now, just for ease on our pocket.....unfortunately stupid turbo mondeo wouldnt like veg oil si we tend to use the van more :roll:

Can someone please clarify if its vehicles registered AFTER January 1st 2001 or not,which are going to be changed regarding

the new ROAD TAX increases.

There's a bit of a debate going on at work about the cut-off date (JAN 1ST / MARCH 1ST)

a few weeks ago i went to look at a 2001 transit mwb semi hi and it was up for £1600 the guy called me this week to say he would take £1100 im now very tempted but how much will the tax be????????????????????????

also any confirmations on the date of tax increase?

the biggest down side is the sign writing has made it need a respray so sierra moonstone blue would be in order for it!
