I think I might have caught the end of this, but didn't see the tranny, does it also have a helicopter in it, and the A team tune?

Not sure that they were after an A-team van as the one they have matches the Helicopter and the motorbike and sidecar, all done in white with red stripes to match the 118 colours.

good point, but it was deffinatley the A team music, so it must be the feel they were going for.

I would agree about the look, especially with the kid having his hair cut like BA!

I finally saw this yesterday, I don't get why they have stuck a 55 plate on it, it defeats the object of using a classic so the ad doesn't date (advertising theory). Still haven't found out whos it is.

Even if you don't need it, grab it.

I saw that as well and was going to search for the plate but then realised that a fake plate was used, but I do agree that the numbers are wrong for an obviously "old" van....it might have a very veiled link to the ad but maybe it was just a plate they had laying around.
Unless the van is one of those freaks that appears from time to time IE a non registered old vehicle? Afterall Fred you own one like that yourself.
I remember in a Car magazine some years ago the magazine was offering a Jaguar as a prize that was over 15 years old at the time of the competition but totally unregistered

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
