No it's not that bad really, but has bubbled up really badly in the corner of the sill under the sliding door. When I got the van it stunk and I ripped up the ply floor to find the whole of the ribbed floor covered in sunflower seeds , complete with maggots etc. The guy who had the van before me was a builder
The whole of the inside of the sill was stuffed with them as well (under the sliding door). Had to try and hoover them out Think they must have got wet in the corner of the sill and started rotting it

even compared to the smiley you should see the difference in the thickness of wings etc a smiley is a bout 1/2 mm thick the mk6's a paper thin i could belive it i leaned on the passenger door when filling the camper up and it actually dented the door yet when i fill my van up i lean on the door and no dents

They used to advertise new shells in the back of autotrader a few years
back. They were around the £700-£900+ vat mark.
No dowt any new ones still lying around would still have the good old
tin worm

No i haven't got a new shell-wish i did bit i'm looking always looking.Priced up the panels to repair my Hallmark to top condition,had to sit down and a large drink.
I've picked up all the opening panels now,just the shell to do.I've been in email contact with the guys in China about new vans/shells and bumpers,they are only LHD and where not very forth coming but i'm still pushing.

if its just the shell then that would be fairly easy to convert to rhd

but a whole van would be a bit more work

Yes i agree,lhd to rhd isn't the end of the world.Going to see if the Chinese lot can supply a double sld swb shell,don't fancy unloading into the road!

simsons had a 3 door cossy shell last time i was up there- didnt see no tranny shells tho
still worth a try but they aint cheep thats for sure
