The pop up roofs on the VW's don't give you extra sleeping space they only give you extra height so you can stand up in the van

I need the biggest van i can get for work ! which i've found to be the iveco xlwb xhr 35s180 was the model number 3.5t 180hp this was the new shape iveco with the 3.0litre engine which went well :D that's gone now and the company have been using the new merc sprinters, a little shorter and with no over cab bit either! the lads arn't keen on these although there not the extended version which is 200mm longer! but as i'm a contractor to this company i bought with my own money a mk6 transit jumbo which is a bit shorter than both of these but nicer to drive and use! generally a better van 8) the lads even prefer to get in mine

iveco xlwb xhr 35s180 VS transit T460 4.6t

has anyone got any pictures of these and the lengthxheightxwidth dimensions for me to compare?

and the driving licence your talking about , erm the C1 what do you have to do on it and how old do you have to take it?, and also if you put a pop top on a hi cube t460 wont that be a bit too much?

Thanks!

You have to be 21 to be able to take a C1 or C class test.

Not being funny but all that info is available on each manufacturer's website - you can get it straight from the horses mouth in a matter of minutes :!:

I was looking at a XLWB Sprinter High top but can not afford it just yet If there was a Transit that size with the 200ps engine I would have been looking at that.

Just to let you know the Jumbo has a loading bay of 4.1m the Sprinter LWB has a bay of 4.3 meter the Sprinter XLWB has a load space of 4.7m

Iveco vans are good work horse but a kak interior and they also look kak.

If you want big big big, go for the Iveco Daily LWB H3. Common miss-conception, but there is no XLWB Iveco, the MWB is as big as a LWB transit, the LWB Daily is huge with a 4.5m loadspace and 2 metre rear overhang which means the wheel arches don't get in the way if you want a rear bathroom or garage. Sides are straighter so they are very popular as a campervan as the walls do not close in at head height, I have one myself :) You can also get a standard mattress sideways across the Iveco Daily at its widest point (about 600mm off the floor). Very few vans can manage that, the Fiat Ducato/Citroen Relay are one of the other that can, but they are much smaller and only fwd.

The H2 roof is most common and headroom inside is 6'3", the H3 is taller and has closer to 7' of headroom. If you need a poptop on that you are mad :)

35s12 - 3.5 ton, s = single rear wheel, 12 = approx 120bhp. 50c18 - 5 ton, c = dual rear wheel, 18 = approx 180bhp :) There are also 29, 45 and 65 versions.

They also excel at towing, after 2004 a single rear wheel will tow 2.8t, or 3t with the 3.0 engine, and dual rear wheel models (c) will tow 3.5t if you have the 3.0 engine :)

This is my MWB (1 metre shorter than the LWB) before I converted it...really wanted a Transit but despite searching I couldn't find one of the rare versions that had a high enough towing capacity.
