Been quoted £80 to bend the tubes - bit expensive but thats all it will cost me for the entire jig 8) i think i might take them round today :D

bit unsure of the angle now as to how far the van will "fall" in when rolled over :D

I would of thought no more than 90degrees but no less than 75degrees.

But then again if you get them bent a full 90degrees then you could stop the roll over with a stack of bricks

It looks like the hub is mounted about 2/3rds the way along the bend :)

But then you can see that in the pic

We used to do that with rally cars many moons ago., just used to remove the battery tape over the breather hole in the brake/clutch master cylinder, use the rear seat squab under the B pillar. The works mechanics reckoned they could change a mini drive shaft in 4 minutes by flipping it on its side..
We did it in a layby to an Imp on the Lands End Trial one year (to refill the steering rack) and someone reported a serious crash so the police turned up and said don't do it anymore :D :D :D

I used to prepare rally minis, Anglias , Mk 1 Cortinas ect and was service crew, 1960s/70s here in North Wales Terry, and we too used to roll them onto rear seat squabs or tyres, particularly minis. for running repairs.... I remember a rep coming round with those roll-over frames... we put an old Consul on it, and when we rolled it, it promptly filled the brake drum with diff oil... the seal must have been cream crackered... :D ... needless to say, he slunk off with his tail between his legs.

Never had a van on its side to work on... but there used to be a few service vans on their sides in the ditches, racing between service points... :D :D :D
