Thats fair enough, I'm not the biggest MK6 fan, but I have driven loads and owned a couple, At least give them one more try before you make up your mind :)

Well I have to say I've just put my Mk5 turbo on the road after having a few problems and what a van :D after driving a 1.9 shitroen Relay. I live at the bottom of a hill and it stormed up at 35mph some cars won't manage that. Not tried it with any kind of a load in it yet, next weekend she'll have about half a ton stuck on her arse so I'll tell you better then.

had my mk 6 135 jumbo on a 300ml trip on sunday on the motorway a1m m62 m61 & 54 i think runing at 60 ish 6th gear all the way going up any hill on the motorway put your foot down and it just pull away.
but in my old and loved mk 5 it would need a lot of up & downe the gear box all the way & 25mpg the jumbo is a biger van & 30mpg mk5s are a good van but you can not go back thats progress

Just got back from a 60 mile trip in the MK7. Brakes are terrible! And engine is lifeless. Still, handles well

You'd need a Transit to cart that monstrosity of a 'woman' around :|
