I drove to the paper shop in a white Escort estate, got my
ciggies ( before I was a non-smoker), came out.. got in a brown Audi saloon , couldn't find my keys ( cause I had left 'em on the
ciggy counter) , got out the the car to have the owner
standing there !...... couldn't even say 'sorry I had one similar' !

Well if its time to make ourselves look silly I better admit my small mistake

The missus and I both had a trip to Manchester airport, I was taking some mates as they were flying to Austria skiiing, Mrs Rover was there for a work meeting, we knew we would cross paths so arranged to meet in the Bar for food and drinks at the end of her meeting. So all finished and off we go to the multi-storey, find my car, she pays the parking fee and off we go............ approx 35miles down the M6 it suddenly dawns on us that her car is STILL IN THE CAR PARK at Manchester Airport....

And thats the first time I have ever told anyone..

Blimey its like an Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting, I feel so much better

ah well at least im not on my own eh !!! another experience to remember down the pub rover we did a job in london at battersea park was late ish when we finished so six of us jumped in the crewbus raced to the digs got changed and made last orders in the snail and cabbage in fulham when we realised we had left a pick up a telehandler fork and lorry all open keys in luckily parks police had sorta figured and took the keys out
