picked up the 2.9i transit today

I only drove mine round the industrial estate where i work but it pulled away well and managed to spin the twin wheels (in the dry) :D but like you say john no pint flogging a dead horse get the 24v in :twisted: :lol:

That's dead easy with an amby Luke! I have a pic of rubber on the road from one of the luvvies driving, and I have whell spun myself, after getting out of a Di luton into the amby! :lol:

Tempting, but she only has a 4 speed, though that will prob only affect the top speed.

:shock: fred i hate to wee on your parade :shock: but your amby will be very slow ! they are only running 100ps at most and wieghing in at neaRLY probly 2.5 tp 3ton it would look like you were going along in 1st gear up the strip! :lol: :lol:

well didn't get anything done on the van today as i ended up doing a 300 mile round drip to Rugby in the midland to take my uncle back home, think i'm going to MOT the van though before i go changing engines just in case it fails and needs more welding than is worth doing.
