So they'd rather a guy loses his job, ends up signing on the dole and scrounging off everyone else rather than just hit me with a fine?
Wheres the sense in that, ive worked my arse off for 2 years and now im screwed.

Done well over half a million miles in my driving career, only ever got 3 points (in a van with no working speedo), if i can do it why can't everyone? i'm no advanced driver, just a fair excuse for one
In fact my main car hasn't had a working speedo for 2 years and still not got caught (notice i DID NOT say "not been speeding")
Now don't take me wronge, i speed BUT i am aware enough to slow down when a camera is there, if i miss one thats my fault, simple really, i know i'm breaking the law so if i get caught, tough.
I look at it as a game , me against the camera, so far it's me 500,000 cameras 1

To be perfectly honist i'm of the opinion that they cause more problems, how many times has the Twonk in font of you slammed on the brakes and slowed from 55 to 40 to pass a 50 MPH camera  happens all the bloody time, not angry with the camera, i'm angry with the twonk who hasn't got enough driving acumin to not panic at the first site of the yellow box on a stick

The way they get you is when they hide em on a blind bend or they put signs up and then nothing for miles. Its crap, why be so underhand about it?

If there are no signs they cant do anything, if there is then you should slow down, not trying to be funny but the simple fact is, you are breaking the law, you get caught it's your fault.
I've driven all sorts of vehicals all over the country, i manage to avoid the fines, perhaps it comes with age, if i was a new driver with only 6 points to waist i'd be more carefull, sorry if that sounds harsh but the whole reason new drivers only have 6 to loose is because they are usually the worst offender for speeding, a fact you back up buy having 6 points in 2 years.
I'm really not having a pop at you (even if it does sound like i am) but the law is the law, it's down to you to NOT get caught, it's not down to the police not to catch you.

There's no fixed speed cameras anywhere north of perthshire, so I've never been caught by one. Been caught a few times in person but you can get out of them  once had the radar clock me at 53mph in a 30

I am not going to mention speeding fines and point, but put it this way I am not going on holiday to Cumbria anymore, I won't buy any petrol there and I won't buy any food there ever again (taking my own pop and butties when I have to work there )
Yes I was doing (allegedly) 79m.p.h. on the M6 but due to it being a company car and taking 2 months to get the paperwork I have no proof that it was me. I can't remember leaving home that early that day to be caught just after 8am. I can't afford Nick Freeman (unfortunately) to help me get off as it was a mobile camera placed in a very sneaky position.
So my way of getting my own back is not to go to Cumbria, used to go quite a bit for the weekend. Perhaps you think it is childish but so was £60 and 3 points.
Also why do the people going over 90 mph never get stopped or the lorries (foreign or otherwise) who ride your bumper in the 40mph roadworks or on another tack anyone on a mobile (especially manoeuvering)

They always say that they come down harder on tailgaters but they dont, they dont do f*** all. I just break test em. Ive slowed down alot since my tickets, so they do work but its too harsh. They need to put more signs up and as crap as it sounds, put more police on the streets to stop stupid parking and cut down on people who are driving without a license.
