theres Mobil, BP and Shell, and they have tankers in the Shell site signed up Sainsburys, Tescos, Asda, etc...
the "premium" diesel id guess is standard stuff with additives - who know what - but it is quieter and seems better but at what cost?
on holiday in spain ive never seen a smokey diesel car or van, i bet thier derv is better

Calculated cruising main A roads @ 55-60mph on a 5.14 diff including loads of 10% hills laden in second gear!! (A30, A303, A36 etc.).

It is........our diesel fad came from the continent.think back 20 yrs.we had petrol and they had diesel.
we pay a premium for our "super/extra/ultimate"......go to spain.....its just diesel
as for the "special super ultimate" over here....It's a load of BSyou think you are doing your van a favour.all you are doing is lining a fat cat's pocket.

You are better off adding something like Redex diesel treatment every 5 tankfulls....or a teaspoon of acetone............
I will never buy "fancy" diesel............no point![]()

thats what they said.
if it increases power by say 5ps thats a 4% power increase,
increase in MPG is roughly 60miles if not more, to a tank so thats a 13% increase in MPG![]()

then with the benifit of giving your fuel sytem the best you can get reducing failure rate, saving even more money and energy, thers no way it can be a loser.
would defo imagine emmisions would be lower also, so increase in efficeincy and economy
win win win win![]()

executivetravel wrote:i wont be trialing the shell premium derv, simply because our Tesco shopping came with 5p a ltr off voucher....
the shell (premium) is 106.9/ltr
the tesco with a voucher is 95.9/ltr
