no sign of any damage at all. they removed cover under the steering column, but all wiring intact. some kind of terminal or laptop port under there, and found out they had trouble recovering it as the steering lock is on! this means they either just lifted the van, or drove it by releasing the steering lock, which I assume can only be done with a key.....
this is becoming more of a mystery. how the hell have they done it??? Is there a ford master key? or have they managed to aquire a duplicate of my key?
think I'll get some deadlocks and a steering lock.

Unfortunately all you can do is slow then down to the point where they give up and try someone elses van. I reckon with the tibbe key and that tool you could be in and away in under three minutes...
