We are having a major problem with faulty CT125. We've installed thousands of metres if it in underground ducts on various sites and we've found out that its not suitable for underground use and goes faulty.
You had any experience of that Andy?

Apparently after a while in the cold it effectively sweats . Thats what our supplie told us, Cables Britain. Because the inner insulation is foam, its just absorbs the moisture, even goes up the cable. Our supplier told us it was fine to use in underground ducts. We've also had instances of finding cables buried in soil where the ground workers have failed to join the ducts properly. In one case it comes out of a house, and buried the entire length of the drive where it dissapears under the pavement . Thats still being worked on. One site we had to replace every single piece of cable because the cable wont carry satallite signals over any distance very well.
We've now changed the cable we use to PE cable which is, we are told, the correct stuff.
Its cost us hundreds of hours so far and i can think of at least 5 sites ive worked on where we've used this crap CT125. Ive even had CT167 go faulty after about 3 months of sat in a duct.
