geoff i see your business is dismantling transits could you not give me a price to supply and waxoil mine through your work?
its just that as a shopkeeper as hands on with a van as i get is putting diesel,oil or screenwash in :oops:

:D i would love to fella but it took me about 3 weeks before i could get mine near a ramp to do the job, its not my line of business mate, i think its more a bodyshop though than a mekanik :D

sus - it isnt difficult at all to waxoil a van - all you need is a compressor (hire one if you dont have one) some waxiol and a gun - my gun was £15 i think :D and a couple of ramps :lol:

if you want we can help out - take pics etc. and ill point arrows on where to spray etc. then we can turn it into a how too for everyone else!

its something i keep meening to do as every transit needs waxioiling :!: :!: :!: :lol:

You don't even need a compressor, you can do it with a plant sprayer.

yeah true the finningans ones you can but the proper plant sprayer

but if you have access to a compresser it will go furter into the chassis rails :D

btw its in a bucket of hot water cos its difficult to spray unless its warm :D

thanks guys seen a friend today who is a plant fitter and he has a compressor and is getting a new 318cdi sprinter on 4th oct and has offered to waxoil my van at the same time he does his as long as i take the linnings and floor out he even said about heating up panels to get into the seams more and the bonus is he only wants a 9 pack of bulmers for the job :D

I want mine to be Waxoyled as Geoff has said. Need to make sure these vans last!

Will your mate be able to cope with 18 pack of Bulmers if I join in :?:

It's just knowing what to do and how to do it properly that worries me.

I am getting the Armourfend on all the exposed areas to prevent stone chips like I have on the car. It works a treat and keeps it mint, only downside is cleaning round the edges but Ive found a new way to sort this as I discovered at the show I took my car to.

Would love to if I aint got anyting else on.

Go to lots of car shows and also just been accepted to have my FRS filmed for a TV programme showing the best of.

Would love to go to a Transit show.
