It's easy to make water from Hydrogen and Oxygen that's the whole point! You just put a match to it. The problem is that to make the Hydrogen and Oxygen from water requires you put in exactly the same amount of energy that it gives out when you burn it.
There's no problem with running your car on Hydrogen (in the short term at least) but to produce it requires a HUGE ammount of energy not the few amps that the 'plan' suggests.

The only way this could ever work would be using zero point energy. But the very existance of zero point energy is denied by most of science!

What about Renault who sell compressed air powered cars, you get about 150 miles on a compression fill up. A mate of mine worked on a compression engine many years ago and got it to run fine, Im wondering if it isnt he who got Renault interested, havnt seen him for years, ooh yeah and you never need to change the oil forever too, 0W10 I think he used

maybe Renault put him at the bottom of a flyover somewhere, or Shell/BP/Texico........... :wink:

Yeah, that compressed air powerd car really shows promise. I first heard about it years ago but like all these things it seems to be taking forever to actually come to market.

It's not exactly the best looking thing on the planet either. :wink:

But I'd live with that for the tiny running costs.

some yaers ago my freinds and i were into "Q car" building, ie making very ruff looking cars run like sports cars.
one of the cheap and neat tricks we did was to inject water vapour in to the inlet maifold on webber carbs on the older fords.
by doing this you increace the oxegen intake by about thirty to forty percent but you kill the rings and valve guides as its a lot like haveing a blown head gasket but with an increase in power not a drop.

the newcastle bus corperation have had a water injection system on there alexander built buses witch increaces the water flow the warmer the engine gets so as to lesson the fuel use.
they have a claimed 25% fuel saving but im not sure as to what damage this all does to the engine.
