taking it to them. i think they are going to do it between call outs? cause it happened so close to my MOT i dont mind taking it in, its only 10 miles

When mine went recently RAC-AW did the job and I had to leave it all morning, located a heated/tinted screen immediately (even though the woman on reception was adamant it wouldn't be heated till she came out and looked for herself). Noticed the new screen is Pilkington and not AW or Ford.

its a Pilkington fitted in mine, non heated but that was just a fluke if i actually got one.

i dropped it off before work at about half7. the guy had a toyota yaris to do first he said.
i got a phone call it twenty to one saying it was ready.

i dont know much about windscreens but it seems a tidy enough job and im just happy with it getting done..

now its at a garage ready to be MOT'd tomorrow... i miss my van!!!

you will never get a ford screen unless you ask and even then you may have to pay the difference in costs between the pattern part and the oe part
