Nice one Luke - that van is so cool 8)

I would have loved to have done that road trip :D

I'm green with envy - and thinking that the money I have spent on my van (non-running, leaky cab and still looks like a shed) I could have bought 2 and half fire vans - gutted :(

But good on yer for getting this van - I think it looks beautiful :D

1st time reading this thread. Really admire you and your passion for Transits. It certainly is catchy and youve got me thinking about engine swaps and multiple van ownership since Transitmania. Just hope my bank manager is ready for it all

My firm were offering a very attractive voluntary redundancy package last month and I ummed and aahh'd about it for a bit and decided to stay put. Over the last few weeks I have so regretted it as I could have set up a Transit business building vans and selling them particularly as my son has just been offered a partnership in the garage he works at... It would have been the perfect opportunity as he could have rented me space and contracted the mechanical servicing and repairs leaving me time to build, customise and sell.

If it comes up again, I will take it and start the business up and fulfill the dream.....timing eh....add to that a mate of a mate just won 2.2million quid on the lottery....timing is everything
