Don't get disheartened you might get lucky but then you might find that to comply with some obscure law BT have to advertise the vehicles, but they don't have to sell to those who are registered more to the people that express an interest in several vans in one hit. So who would want to sell to, 1 person taking 10+ vans or 1 person taking a single van?

I see your point, why would they be arsed with one van? Never know - might get lucky.

High ish miles but looks OK. Cheap too.

What engine options did that one have?

If it's not turbo then it will be a 70 or 76ps, not alot between them to be honest.

Just check that the arches front and back are in perfect condition and if nessessary take a small magnet with you
Or if you want to be really fussy then do as Ford did to mine and use an electronic paint depth gauge

According to the other thread (top speed) that's 85 MPH on a good day! Might have a small chance or rolling along the road at 70 then I guess.

And ignore all the 'jealous' remarks and if the electronic system does wave goodbye at some stage, you can, with all our help fit an alternative pump which doesn't require all the electronics (as long as it's not an auto )

Not necessarily, check insurance prices first. When I was shopping around my 120 swb was quite a bit cheaper than an 80.
On the diff subject, my 120 has got a 130 axle/springs fitted to it (It wasn't me!) and i'm sure the gear ratio is lower than it should be. Reads 80mph when i'm actually only doing 70 (checked it with a GPS device).

Thanks for all the replys guys, some food for thought! BT are ignoring me which is really nice of them - isn't it illegal (anti competition) not to sell me a van? I'm going to write to my MP *stomps around a bit*


I've just seen Transitgeoff is selling some nice vans, but a bit more than I wanted to pay for a toolbox! (bloody nice van though - must maintain focus - pay rent and food bill - don't need expensive van ggrrrrrr)
