the state gumbyment[sorry government]had a crack at a ban on bullbars on metro registered vehicles here.big backlash from the townies sorted it out.i had one fitted to my mk1 removed it cos it looked shite.any one who wants it can have it. big solid 4 post jobbie that scrubs front rubber out real fast.bullbars are usefull things if you drive here at night roos etc but sad to say many pedestrians get belted by them.bullbar or not if a car hits you odds on it will hurt.i have one of those smartbars fitted to my taxi .good design full front bar replacement looks like a factory fit follows shape of car nice.the taxi inspectors hate it but country cab so i get away with it

If your van need an MOT it's over 3 years old and isn't covered by the new laws, it's new vans only.

As your van is a 96 you don't need to worry.

Why would 2 number plates fail? And as you can't see one of them why don't you just remove it if you are worried about it!

Yeah, but what does a silly MOT tester know? They just hit stuff with hammers and rev the nuts out of an engine. They know sod all about proper cars/vans and real life. Load of idiots init.
