This is getting out of hand!
If I thought I could make a living buying and selling Transit parts I'd be on it in a flash. No shame in that

I agree with Steve W

mate if you can get £1500 for an engine good luck to ya - if they sell for that sort of money I might get some myself - I am a trader by the way - I'll buy and sell anything (anyone want a wife or grandmother) - if your punters don't like your prices they wouldn't buy - I must be missing something but I'm at a loss to see what the problem is other than no one guessed from the outset you were a parts trader (despite the name "sparesman") - just my opinion

Lukes idea not mine, speak to him, i do not tout for trade by answering everyones problems and wants with, " i have a......." if that was allowed the Forum would be a joke and not the quality thing it is 8)

Guess you hadn't seen Lukes PM Inbox then when sparesman arrived...he was noticed in his first week on here by more than a few people.

I have no problem buying from traders as long as they are upfront about what and who they are...I personally won't be buying anything from sparesman as I don't need older Transit parts. I get hacked off with ebay being cluttered with dealers...that is one place that needs a trade only section. On here if the traders who wish to trade then provide Luke with funds to run the site then allow them to advertise, until such time as that is allowed the rules have to be kept to.
Geoff has lost plenty of posts falling foul of this rule...not always totally fairly (I asked for a friend about a particualr part and Geoff was the only one who answered me ;)) but since the rule is there his posts had to go
