The problem is the time given to find the right cars and vans. Anybody can find anything given enough time, and inevitably the thing turns up on ebay a week after you have done an extensive search then run out of time! As for the idea of it being a dream in the lead character's head MRMP, good point but the series has always been sold as a period drama/time travel thing. I am dying to find out where this is going and what happens in the end! I would like to think it will go on to a second series in another decade, preferably the 80s! I think he will probably wake up though. If not a second series would probably be in the 70s again.

thats a very good point, I never thought of it like that. I still remember the testcard girl with the clown too...it used to frighten me back then

i did notice they were using some straight pint glasses in the pub, but they didn't come out till the early eighties.

The CF was in front probably cos it has a nice 2.3 lump under the bonnet/cab floor instead of a 1.6 Xflow :lol:
