I might have to change my mk7 sooner than I'd hoped now

LOL, are you living in the dark ages? Things move on, designers are designers because they have a view that plumbers, chippies, sparkies and even pool turd scrapers don't have. Every time a new Transit is launched people bitch about it for a while because they have no foresight. The MK6 looked radical when it was launched, same with the MK7, the MK8 makes them look dated.
As for the Fiat comment, that just makes you look stupid, but I know that you don't actually think that. At the end of the day it was designed by Ford, will be built by Ford and will have a Transit badge on the back, but you can always buy a Fiat, it'll be cheaper in the first instance.

Thats what a van basically is though, all the french do is make that box slighlty smaller, rounded at the top and then put doors and other bits on it that fall off. The Transit is the best at being a van mainly because of its size and versatility, why change it when its worked for nearly 50 years?

No longer backbone of britain. Bullshit of Britain maybe.
