Almost got pulled

Postby sc_BK » Wed Nov 29, 2006 1:43 am

Ok well was driving into work today, and handily my work is just round the corner from a VOSA centre, who decided to have an "open day"! Was a wee bit late as it was and didn't fancy getting stuck in there for ages! Saw them letting out a battered mk5, then the traffic warden manning the junction was eyeing me up deciding whether or not to pull me in, LUCKILY he didn't!

anyway just my wee story from today!

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Traffic wardens working with VOSA have the powers to direct you into a VOSA site  Vosa do not have the powers to pull you up on the road side unless they are taking you to a VOSA site apparantly they have been pulling people onto the hard shoulders and its not legal

when vosa decided to have a stop check last week in felixstowe they had the police pulling vans and cars with trailers to direct them into a car park they set aside to do checks..and customs were there,,also the police did a walk round the town and the side streets doing spot checks on vehicles..
