right as you all know ive got a transit cosworth im building i have just got a quote for it im only 25 ive got 3 points for speeding ive disclosed all my mods ie 18 inch alloys steering wheel lowered etc etc and ive got a quote for 602.99 from hic just thought id let people know there a great place to try

if the van is over 10 years old and not used for work you could try getting it insured on a classic policy.

Yes you could try, but when I shopped around when Alex turned 20 three years ago none of them would tkae her. I haven't bothred recently cos she costs nothing to include on the trader's policy now.

I went to collonade in breck road liverpool this year, and my insurance is less than £500 I hadnt been driving a year at that point either;)...though i am a lot older than 20;) Last year Market Line (as we did do markets, we dont anymore) charged me over £1,500... My van wasnt that much new!

Is yours LWB or SWB? The insurance companies I spoke to wouldn't take anything with more that 6 wheels. They said it was commercial

Lwb, but only 2 wheels on back axel, but its a commercial class vehicle..

You can no longer drive a lwb with two wheels on back axel unless done different license.. pain in the butt, i need to sort it out once my "probabtion" period is up.

You can, anything up to 3500kgs which is all Transits apart from the very big transits which are very rare anyway.
