Cheap place to stay? (Luton area)

Postby sc_BK » Mon Feb 05, 2007 11:39 pm

Next month I'll need to be in london on a sunday for 8-9am, few miles along the north circular from M1 J1 (Ace Cafe actually!).

Van will be full and I'll have a passeneger so sleeping in the van is out the question! (only 1 seat reclines)

So anyone recommend any cheap motel type places in somewhere like Luton, and preferably pretty close to the motorway?

Cheers

not from luton as you know, but have you tried travellodge, (the ones that are beside littlechefs) as they do £10 and £25 rooms if you book early enuff.

I'd dismissed Travelodge as you see them advertsing rooms for £60 odd a night normally! Just went on their site, can get a room in thier Luton place on the right night for £15  :) :D

Too much Eastenders....and believing it ;)

Pretty much all Travel lodge type places have deals for the weekends the weekdays are the killer prices as the travelling salesmen are a captive market.

I've stayed at the Luton Travelodge :D

Was very cheap, and the window looked out over the airport (bonus if like me you like planes!), they stop flying in and out at midnight though so no noise through the night :D

Rover.

Make sure the building isn't running late, or you will be staying in a building site!
