got this email :D

so lets have some answers guys - i'll email him the link :D
Hi,

I write a triva-based Q&A column for the . The
question this week:

Why are white vans white?

So, why is white the most popular colour? What other colours are popular?
Is white becoming more or less popular?

If personally you do or do not have a white transit, why or why not?

I'd be very grateful for any short quotes, either by e-mail or on the
phone,some time tomorrow, Wednesday.

Many thanks,

Simon Usborne

Q, Why are white vans white?
A, what colour would you suggest a 'white van' be? Green??

Q, If personally you do or do not have a white transit, why or why not?
A, Mine is white at the front and Red at the back...Why?.... I like to confuse people, "it was a red van" "No I think you'll find it was white" etc etc.

Rover.

I always thought vans came in white so that they could be sign written easily.
I'm sure we've had this discussion on here before.....

my mate had a white van , he didn't know it was white until he pulled the weeds out and gave it a wash.

on a more serious note, is'nt having your van white easier to touch up with paint.

It suits the livery of more companies.

Transit has very flat side panels now to allow for easier application of company graphics too, see......they even think of that for you :D

I don't think it's rocket science, but, white vans are called white vans because they are white

White seems to be replaced with silver, there's alot of silver vans around.

Silver must be the new white!
