Wow, what a difference it made

I had a quick go in the van round the site and it was noticably better. You really noticed it when going up hill. Instead of struggling to go up in 3rd and ending up in 2nd, it was flying up in 3rd and might even go to 4th :shock:

Will cleaning the EGR valve improve it more and if so are any special tools needed. Pics would help.

Has it increased the top speed or increased maximum speed in any given gear :?:

Will it make a great difference to MPG do you think :?:

Does it still start up ok :?:

Ive read the thread,was just asking what rough kind of performance/figures he had obtained by doing the mods thats all :!:

Top end 80ish (but noisey at that speed) 0-40-60 etc quicker than before I fiddled, no noticable difference in fuel consumption, lighter foot is now all I need to get to the speed I want. Do it and see but make sure you mark the nut first...if you don't like what it feels like put it back as you had it...the entire process is reversable.

Ive got ex-police minibus and it will do 85 flat out,cruise at 70-75 all day.Ive had the little cap off and the allen key has been disturbed before.Seems as though previous owner knew about the pump mod also,or the old bill forgot to put the pump back to original setting when they sold it :shock:
