Tacho?

Postby mrgasoil » Fri Mar 02, 2007 10:11 pm

Looked at a couple of pick-up t350's today with electronic tacho's. :?:

If a vehicle has a tacho fitted do you have to use it :? :?:

Also the (electronic) part puts me off, i've used my mates erf ec10 95spec and i assume thats got a mechanical tacho? (it ticks). I know it may be a daft question but my exp with tach's is very limited

if the use you're putting to doesn't need a tacho then you don't need to use it - just put one of the plastic discs in to protect the stylus

dont worry if the van runs and starts without a card u can still use it for private use..(and i think if not towing)
But i have always put a card in a tacho even if i dont need to.(If stopped at least u can prove how long u have been driving for)Also u maybe able to get the digi tacho removed from a tranny van
