Latest weird news. If I heard this right. The dealer I work for being a Sterling Truck dealer also will be selling rebadged DODGE medium duty trucks as Sterlings!

Hmmmmmmm, nah..... Maybe I will get used to it but I loved the old one, always thought it was the van the Mk3 transit should have been.

Well, so far I have yet to see proof of it showing up. I was down visiting the dealer I work for July 25th. They have a new 2008 E250 for a parts truck and it's still got the old front end.

I did see my old F250 down back though. (My wife says only I'D go visit my old work truck when given a choice where to go! -It was her birthday we were out for!!) The guys told me the 2008 that replaced it "is gutless" but I can't see why unless they added more weight with the new front end.

Now, with only 300 hp, even the old 2006 wasn't THAT fast but it moved pretty good when it wanted too!! (They only order them with the 5.4 V8)

How tight's the footwell in the Transit? The E van is so tight you can barely get your feet on the pedals! You usually have to "deadpedal" your left in the footwell or on the wheelhousing!

Can't remember, I try not to have much to do with the Mk3 on, but did rent one or two. I was talking about the outside

Youhave to admit, it looks crap......who the hell designed that front end, pity they havnt gone with the Euro type diesel engines yet cos alot of the new generation diesel engines will turn circles around a lumpy V8 not to mention save tons on fuel
