Found this on etis, looks like 2 vans have the same reg number but how?
I believe private plates don't show up but could a reg transfer cause this?

the dealer reged it with that number
someone bought it and put a private plate on it
the dvla gave the number back to another van

you can have 2 reg numbers on etis. here is my old van on my private plate mf11mfh it can also be pulled up on the original number bl63kvh. if you drop down the box "show registration list" it tries to give the dates these numbers were assigned to the vehicle but they're not that accurate, more likely when got round to inputting them on the system. I haven't got a problem putting my reg details up as these all apply to my old vehicle that was written off last year but feel free to use them if you want to have a look.

A Mk6 with an 07 plate would be a bit odd though :?

Would be nearly rotted away by the time they fitted the plates, so they bunged them on a Mk7 and hoped no-one would notice the different white :P
