KN*B Vw driver

Postby stu0500 » Sun Mar 06, 2016 12:05 pm

Our new custom looks mint. Black, company livery on it after all the toys added it came to a heathy £24,280 inc vat I had some prick in a T5 tell me it's just a 'ford' mother F&@ker who does he think he is? Transporters are boring and dull. After I checked his reg it was a 90 bhp van. Basic crap. I'm boiling here! If we wanted a Vw we would have bought one but we didn't even look at them! Jesus wept!

Rant over!

I hear that all the time" its just a ford""I wouldn't have a ford", but as soon as you say "oh I have a mk2 escort rs2000 or I have a cosworth" (I haven't wish I did) you usually get "oh ide love one of those" f#@king morons everybody slags fords off but everybody wants a classic ford. N

Look at it this way, Ford has been in existence for almost 113 years. They must have been doing something right to last this long :D 8) .
Some people are like slinkies.... not good for much but bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Don't take it personal there's alway been a silent war between ford and vw vans, smoking them off the lights keeps them at bay :D

Just remember that your van won't look right with surfboards on the roof, and towels drying over the rear doors :P  :D

Our Custom is a Wellhouse Terrier campervan. Before buying it I'd made my mind up to get a T5 California. That was until I drove them both!

Still like the look of the T5 though, although every time we pitch up someone will come along and say they prefer the Custom.

We all know that vw like to lie about things save for a peoples car in the 30's emission test recently so do the driver lie about being smoked on the traffic light grand prix by a transit its the vivaros I have a problem with. N

Owning a vw is like describing your girlfriend as having a nice personality.
They've never built anything but boring plain stuff.
No flair or excitement.
Every vw t5 owner I come across pretends not to look, knowing that he's paid 20k more for something far inferior.
Made by nazis's who lost.

Transporter shite....
I bought one blind a while back......5 cylinder 140hp.
Always wanted one and believed all the hype from the vw knobs......
Fella dropped it off and i handed over the wonga.......next day im out in it thinking it would be the nuts...
Now was i in for a shock........it had a full bulkhead inn it and i couldnt get the seat to go back far enough unless the back of the seat was tilted vertical..
5cyl lump was as loud and noisey......
It didnt feel planted on the road.....
Minor issues were standard radio/cd was pathetic
Seats were designed by satan.....rock hard
Noisey cabin.....
So.......looked for advice from the vw knobs and was told....." oh yeh ,you have to rip the bulkhead out or have a half bulkhead, lower the van to get a planted feel, swap the radio cos there sh*t , get some seats from a saab, and insulate the cab to get rid of the noise, there are all like that"
"also be carefull as there prone for cracked manifolds, clutches, duel mass flywheel......."
I found it strange how these people would spend all this money on a van and then swap a load of parts to make it drivable ,then spent thousands on repair bills and then say .."its the best van iv ever had and wouldnt have anything else" fookin bellends if you ask me..
I had mine about a week ........drove 20 miles in it and stuck it on ebay and sold it within minutes to some fool who wanted to live the vw dream.
I wouldnt have one if they were the last van on the earth........totally overrated by suckers who want to enter into this transporter dream..
