Stopping wind deflectors getting stolen

Some miserable sod has nicked my wind deflectors

I had a set taken once before, along with wheel trims, but that was in Edinburgh.

Round here you could normally leave your house unlocked!
Cheeky feckers, I can only assume they're not local!


Anyway any suggestions on making them harder to pinch? I'm thinking try and glue them in place, and etch the reg number on to them

That was a while ago now, end of 2014. It was at butterfly world of all places!!

The set nicked this week was either at my house (hidden in the woods) or when it was briefly left in a forestry commission carpark

Thieving twats . Gets my goat that. Lying in the street , skip , fair doos , have it, sort of.
But whipping it off a motor grrr
Etching would at least make them less desirable, you hope.
I'll eventually get a pair for mine. Be looking for a permanent ish way of keeping em on.

Strangely mine haven't been touched yet on either Transit.
Wheel trims how ever are a different story, they dissapear at an alarming rate

i used windscreen sealant to secure mine, thin smear of it and leave windows down for a couple of days

will break them befor they come out

Not one to stereotype but yer probly right.
Last 2 vans Ive had up here gyppos (faux oirish accents) have asked to buy em both. Had to growl one of them away as looked right dodgy.

Not sure how they are held on but maybe drill a hole in the plastic run a thin wire down the door and rig up one of those alarms that goes off when you pull the pin. You should be left with 1 out of 2

Hi.

Glad to see a few of the old names still on here. I've had two lots of side window air deflecters stolen in the last month.First time my next door neighbour saw them and they only got away with the drivers side but a week later they came back and took both of them so this time i'll not be replacing them.
