Mk7 oil pump

Was there a recal on Mk7 oil pumps? If so what was the problem?
2005 85ps t280 swb camper, chrome door handles, outside temp gauge and clock and auxiliary 12volt socket. Colour coded bumpers & door mirrors, Mondeo glasses holder. Auto dim rear view mirror. Vantunered :D . 2012 Transit Trend in Panther Black

Only on euro5 mk7's

It was due to sudden failure of the pump casing no oil pressure and damage to the engines.

Thanks for that Punto443. We have Fiat ambulances only 6 moinths old I believe the same engines? Having probs with burning oil and I believe one gone in for pump failure.

ford,citreon,fiat,Peugeot all use the same engine 2.2 euro 5

y wasnt citreon engines on the recall list ?
