First bit of progress

My poor MK2 is sat rotting round the back of mums house, I just can't seem to get around to it, rust is really taking hold and it won't last much longer, I don't want to let it die, its going to need lots of welding, new wings, sills, lower side panels..............where did the my dream go of a 2lt pinto injection Mk2 goto

Come on you can do it! Just go out and sweep the back out or whatever, you just need to get up close to it again and the enthusiasn will come back. GET ON WITH IT!

I'm going to get it started tomorrow, move the fence back to give me more room and start to clean up the rust, I need a new welder so its going to take me 2 or 3 weeks to save up, my capri clutch has gone and my everyday driver is needing brakes and a tyre

Going to start at the front and work my way back, I made some panels up but they have rusted up now, this is what you get living on the beach!

N/S doors
Sills
lower rear panels.

I've cut the grass for where its going, I'm going to get some new metal this weekend and a welder next week, so I'm going to begin next week if the rain keeps off, I would have had it started and moved it, if not for the rain.

I have to take down a fence and put it up further along to give me the room I need

Well with all this rain I made a rush with the fence as the sun came out the idea is to give me more room, I'm going to drop the van back so I can get all the way around it, going to start welding at the front and work my way back.
