Don't get confused with those duals though,
Just cause it has two lanes doesn't always mean it's a dual carriageway.
It's only classed as a dual carriageway if it has a barrier or grass verge between the opposite lanes.

Not true!, the stocksbridge bypass had the refund 1000s if not 100s of 1000s of tickets because it is partly a dual carriageway with a 70 limit and no central reservations, signs were national speed limit, and tickles were for over 60mph .

I know , truck speed limit is 60 mph on Dual carriageways and motorways but all trucks have to be limited to 56 mph by law
