Anyone tried fitting custom arch plastic mud guards from a custom onto a mk7? :P
56 350 2.2 130ps mk7 with 2 side doors 8)

I tried Focus ones, and they weren't going to fit without a lot of chopping about and making up new brackets. It would be interesting to know if Custom ones fit 8)

I like the idea of that nasty water dripping off plastic, mainly the back arches but that's not that much between the 2 I'm sure we can do it :P
Prices seem to be 100 pounds per arch liner though :shock:

I did find a company "selling" ones for the Mk7, but they were out of stock at the time, and when I messaged them, they couldn't be arsed to bother replying :roll: :(

I believe theres a roofing contractor somewhere in North Wales that has a few off cuts left over from a big project that might do the job with a bit of tiger seal :mrgreen: :wink: :P

Nope not a stitch left over :shock: the only cuts I made were 2 x 3in holes for the waste pipes, they got cut up too so unless you want to make a false moustache or something it's no bueno :(
Could probably make something but I liked the idea of them fitting straight off a custom. :P

Well what you need is a 3D printer in that barn of yours and then you can custom make them and sell them :P

Yes indeed, there's adverts for metal 3d printing now too :P
I'd love a 2 metre 3d printer I could make body kits etc or of abs 8)
