Well that's it then

Postby joinerman » Mon Jan 04, 2021 10:37 pm

Looks like I'm going to be forced to replace my old smiley, had quit a bit of welding done down one side underneath not long before crimbo and the intention was to have the other side done in the next couple of weeks before the MOT runs out, my mate who does the welding actually works for a coach company that ferry's kids to school and does my van in between his repair work . he's 5hit hot at what he does and the works done right not a quick patch and a tack weld here and there and gunge between the rest, Lockdown has bolloxed it all up as he is furloughed know and not allowed to use the workshop , my only hope is they extend the MOT test again or I've got to buy another van.

The garages are staying open this time, so I can’t see the MOT extensions again.

Ned
There's no way i could get the van in my unit, i have a huge planer thicknesser just inside my doors also my floor is wood so with an angle grinder going and welding with all the sawdust and shavings about that would be a recipe for a bonfire.
