Reverse Camera Suggestions

Do you have a MK7?
Do you have a reverse camera?
If so what one have you got?

Am after some suggestions

Android 8.0 head unit with reverse camera function. I don't think I'd get another, the build quality is poor (the fascia lights have failed and I had to butcher its mounting & the hole in the dash to fit) and lots of apps won't work on the routed operating system e.g. BBC Sounds and All4. You can bluetooth music to it but you have to allow calls through it to do so, despite already allowing music. Digital works on it with usb dongle, but reception is poor.

It's nice that the screen is in the dash for reversing (one less screen), but it's in the wrong place for using it as a satnav.

It's a good unit deep down, just poorly executed in a few areas. A newer version of Android might be better (it's a few years old now), and the DAB box needs a proper aerial rather than the film type in the windscreen.

I have the below android 9 unit, it has auto on to the rear camera when Rev is enguaged, the standard camera was fine but i replaced it with one with IR emitters and better night vision, the camera i used was part of a 4 cam CCTV system i instaled and just used a splitter cable on the Fr and Rr cameras, you can go to the Fr cam with a button press and as Fr and Rr are IR i can drive in the dark with no lights on in case of Zombies
Works fine as satnav, in a Mk7 it's in an OK pos
