As matt said, that email address worked for me too. And i have phoned them many times, and they have never hung up on me. Are you sure the fault isnt your end? Try using a different computer/tablet/ phone, just in case yours is faulty?

Good luck to kevin, savagesam and eggroller, they were all made compliant in under 2 weeks! Dont know what im doing wrong, im still waiting for decision after first querying this about 7 weeks ago! Tfl say they have escalated my case, to head dept to investigate? I,ve sent copy of logbook, to confirm im under 3.5 tonne, and as matt suggested, sent copy of early adopters list, and sent matts template letter. Also sent kevins reg, to say, look you made this guy compliant, well my van is the same, ie under 3.5 tonne, and has euro 3 engine. Hopefully will be sorted before end of june, but just seems curious to me, as to why its taking them so long! Terry

UPDATE
At long last i have been made compliant for lez, after about 7 weeks of back and forth with tfl. I never ever got a pcn, but did get a warning letter at the start of all this. I lost a bit of money from cancelled jobs etc. Thank you to kevin and minormatt for his template letter and early adopter list. Terry

Yours is compliant too Karl... so if you write to them they will (eventually) update the system.

Having said that - I can't imagine you go to the smoke that often?

Hello folks, here we are 2 years later and someone has the same issue with a 2001 Transit. I pointed them to this thread and I was wondering if you folks are still OK regarding the LEZ.

My reason for asking is this on the RAC website:

"Light 4x4s and pick-ups registered new before 1 January 2002 are also required to pay it."

Thank for the early adopters list which I downloaded from this forum. Do you think TFL would still accept it as the LEZ rules were allegedly tightened in 2021. Was that before or after your problems reported here arose?
