iam gona have a go at making my own quad lamps for a transit
mk4/5
use the normal mk4/5 lights but take the front of and from the in side fill it with fiberglass

and put 2 of them lights i get in the mk1 or minis i would say wot lamps i mean but for got

oh and drill the holes for the lamps in the fiber glass wot you think

so i think i will need the both side of the front lamps but i have a drivers side any way

just need some fiberglass from my local car shop and will see

dunno. I just thought the resin might melt. I thought headlights were made out of either an ABS polymer or a thermoset.

No Worries, it won't melt....

Fiberglass is "Polyester" resin which has a higher melting point than both ABS and thermoset and when coupled with glass the temperature is quite high.

Polyester is listed as "tecapet" or "PET"

now i forgot wot you call them lamps you buy for austin minis or mk1 transit or mk1 escort that when thay blow you tho the lamp a way and put a other one in ?

is there a frame so you can screw it on and than put bulb in? or are thay just one light jobby?

I think the smaller size sealed beams were 5 inch, the big ones were 7 inch
