O.k. converting LWB panel van to a country?

And losing some of the length... whats the possiblity, how is it done, and what would it cost????

Assuming you mean County, and not country( ), then I reckon unless you can find a donor vehicle at the right money - and bearing in mind that even broken ones tend to have silly price tags on them, that converting one would be a pricey job. In 1999 the basic conversion would have set you back over 12 grand!

I don't know if the front or rear subframes are available, but other "bits" cost a fortune new. Lower suspension arms are £335 a side, front shocks are £76 each, brake discs £70 each, ball joints £96 each etc etc. There are some fairly hefty bits of metalwork under the body and probably half of them are unavailable now. Best bet might be to start looking for "one they prepared earlier" rather than converting. I check ebay most days for them and I'll post any that do come up.

then we wont be taking this route then.. We were considering it... for a moment for our current vehicle, as its just too big.. in all respects!
